KFC India has announced its first-ever collaboration with an Indian Sauce brand, partnering with craft hot sauce label Naagin to bring bold, locally inspired heat to its restaurants nationwide.

The collaboration introduces Naagin’s signature hot sauces across 800+ restaurants of KFC India, pairing its iconic fried chicken with the bold flavours of Indian chillies like Sankeshwari and Byadgi. Available as a new dipster designed for the Indian palate, the rollout features two of Naagin’s most popular sauces, ‘The Original’ and ‘The 65’, which balance heat with depth while spotlighting regional chilli varieties through the brand’s “seed-to-sauce” sourcing approach.

For KFC, the move continues its long-standing focus on localising flavours for Indian consumers. For Naagin, the partnership marks its largest food service rollout to date, taking the brand from craft condiment shelves to one of the country’s biggest quick-service restaurant networks.

Founded in 2019, Naagin has built a loyal following by spotlighting regional Indian chillies and bold flavour profiles. The brand is currently available across 500+ premium retail outlets in India and has expanded internationally into markets including the USA, UAE, and Singapore. The collaboration also signals Naagin’s evolution into a large-scale food service partner, supported by manufacturing capabilities designed to meet the global quality and safety standards required by multinational QSR brands.

“This collaboration is a huge milestone for us,” said Mikhel Rajani, Co-founder of Naagin. “KFC’s scale and reach allow us to showcase the depth of Indian chillies to millions of consumers. It’s exciting to see flavours rooted in local ingredients come to life with a global brand that understands the Indian palate.”

The rollout is currently underway across KFC restaurants nationwide and will be supported by in-store activations and a digital campaign across social media platforms.

With global scale meeting homegrown heat, the collaboration brings together two brands united by one thing: a love for bold flavour.
