Stunned by the poll loss in Haryana , the blame game among Congress leaders have begun. Senior Leader Kumari Selja who was peeved with the Congress campaign strategy and stayed away from many rallies by the party in the state expressed her view post results .
She in her comment took a dig at the party High command saying : “The Haryana poll result is disappointing, the Congress high command should assess the reasons behind it. The High command should work out some plan to help revive the party in Haryana, identify those responsible for such results. I’m pained at the Cong workers’ disappointment, I’m sure party high command will assess reasons for defeat. Business as usual won’t work.”
Congress fell far behind the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Haryana assembly Election, party MP Randeep Singh Surjewala said that it has called for a meeting of the newly elected MLAs tomorrow.
Surhjewala was addressing the public in Haryana’s Kaithal Assembly constituency, from where his son Aditya Surjewala secured victory by 8,124 votes defeating BJP’s Leela Ram.
“The Congress has called for a meet of party MLAs tomorrow. The Congress president and senior leadership has called me today to discuss on some things.” Surjewala said.
Surjewala celebrated the victory of Aditya from the Kaithal assembly Constituency and launched a scathing attack on BJP’s Leela Ram.
