For A Month No Congress Spokepersons To Appear On TV Debates

After a second successive dismal showing in the Lok Sabha Polls in 2019 and before that in 2014, Congress has party has now banned its spokespersons from appearing TV debates for a month .
The Congress has often accused the media of being “biased” towards the Modi dispensation.
Congress communications – in charge – Randeep Singh Surjewala took to Twitter on Thursday to say: “@INCIndia has decided to not send spokespersons on television debates for a month. All media channels/editors are requested to not place Congress representatives on their shows.”

Congress is not the only party to do this . The JD(S) who have alliance with Congress in Karnataka and Samajawadi party of Akhilesh Yadav too have made similar announcements after their poor showings in the LOk Sabha polls 2019.
