Final Farewell : Prime Minister Narendra Modi Pays Last Tribute To SAD Patriarch Parkash Singh Badal ; Several Leaders Express Grief
Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi on Wednesday arrived in Chandigarh and went to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)’s office to pay his last respects to SAD patron Parkash Singh Badal.
As per ANI report, Badal’s mortal remains were brought to the SAD office in Sector 28 in Chandigarh for paying last respects on Wednesday morning, where party leaders and workers gathered in large numbers to pay tributes.

Parkash Singh Badal served as the Chief Minister of Punjab multiple times. He was the CM from 1970-1971, from 1977-1980, from 1997-2002, and from 2007-2017. He was also the youngest CM to have ever held office in the state of Punjab.
