External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar Points Out The Success Of G20 Under India’s Presidency
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar has said the G20 under India’s Presidency was able to bridge strong positions, and deep divides and turned out to be far better than most people expected.
Addressing the G20 tree plantation ceremony at Nehru Park in New Delhi, he said the action plan for Sustainable Development Goals, Green Development Pact, message of women-led development, support for digital public infrastructure, and LiFE Mission are the key takeaways of the G-20 Summit held in New Delhi last month. He said that at the end of the Summit, a very strong image of sustainability, and Global South came out of the G20. The Minister said that this G20 delivered very substantively on the most pressing issues of the day.

India took over the G20 presidency in December last year after the Bali Summit and will continue to hold the mantle till the end of November.
