#Dream11 IPL 2020 : Dhawan, Rahane, Star As Delhi Capitals Beat RCB By 6 Wickets
In the battle for the second and third position encounter between the Delhi Capitals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore it was the Delhi Capitals who had the last laugh winning by six wickets. This after DC skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field first.
Iyer’s move seem to have paid off as the Delhi Capitals bowlers bowled a with discipline and control to restrict the RCB batting line- up to a modest total of 152/ 7. Josh Philippe ( 12), Devdutt Padikkal an impressive (50), Virat Kohli ( 29), A B De Villiers ( 35), Chris Morris ( 0), Shivam Dube ( 17). The RCB batsmen could not step up the scoring right through the innings.
For Delhi Capitals, Anrich Nortje was the star with 3/33 ( 4 overs), Kagiso Rabada 2/30 (4 overs), Ravichandran Ashwin 1/ 18 ( 4 overs), Axar Patel 0/30 (4 overs)
In reply the Capitals lost out off form Prithvi Shaw early for ( 9). But two India stars Shikhar Dhawan and finally some form by Ajinkya Rahane put the Capitals on track . The duo played sensible cricket and rotated the strike well to put a88 run stand. Dhawan after some low scores in earlier games bounced back with a well made 54 off 41 balls with 6 fours. Rahane who has been out of touch finally got some much needed runs that will will boost his confidence scoring a vital 60 off 46 balls with 6 fours and one six. Shreyas Iyer fell for (7). Rishabh Pant ( 8) not out and Aussie all- rounder Marcus Stoinis ( 10_ not out saw the Capitals home reaching 154/4 in 19 overs.

For RCB the wicket – takers were Mohammed Siraj 1/29 (3 overs), Washington Sundar 1/24 ( 4 overs), Shahbaz Ahmed 2/26 ( 4 overs), Yuzvendra Chahal went wicket less 0/29 ( 4 overs)
Delhi cruised to an emphatic six wicket win with an over to spare and secure the second spot in the standings. RCB now finish third.
The fourth place will be decided by the Sunrisers Hyderabad clash against the Mumbai Indians. If SRH wins they go through to the play off while loss enables Kolkata Knight Riders to get in.
The match was important since the winners of this game would seal in the place in Qualifier 1 against Mumbai Indians.
The winner of Qualifier 1 straightaway goes through to the final, while the losing team gets another chance to make it to the title clash in Qualifier 2.
