Already battling COVID – 19, the border flare-up could not have come a worse time for the Modi government. And apart from China heat, the opposition too is asking tough questions regarding the stand-off.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has sought explanation from the Modi government as to what led to the killing of 20 Indian soldiers in Galwan valley of Ladakh after confrontation with Chinese soldiers. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to break his silence.
“Why is the PM silent? Why is he hiding? Enough is enough. We need to know what has happened. How dare China kill our soldiers?” Gandhi tweeted.
