#CWC23 : BCCI Announces 15-Member Indian Team Led By Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya Named Deputy ; No Place For Ravichandran Ashwin, Sanju Samson, Shikhar Dhawan
The BCCI Chairman of Selectors Ajit Agarkar has announced a 15-member India squad for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup . The team will be skippered by Rohi Sharma. All – rounder Hardik Pandya will be the vice- captain. The fit again K L Rahul finds place in the side.
The Rohit Sharma led side will be hoping to repeat what Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his team achieved in 2011 – win at Hone .
There is no place for Shikhar Dhawan, Sanju Samson, Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal . As Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja will handle the spin bowling department. Despite his poor 50 over record SuryaKumar Yadav keeps his place. Talented Tilak Varma was overlooked.

India boast of a strong batting line-up in Rohit, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Kishan.
Jasprit Bumrah, who recently recovered after a long injury lay-off, will lead the pace attack, which also comprises the talented pace duo of Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj.
