#Blow For TMC : In Amit Shah’s Presence , Suvendu Adhikari Joins BJP, 11 MLA’s Former MP Also Join

Ending the suspense , rebel TMC leader Suvendu Adhikari has joined BJP in presence of Union Home Minister leader Amit Shah in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal.

After joining Suvendu said : “The economic condition of West Bengal is in a very bad state. If the state has to be salvaged, its reins need to be handed over to Prime Minister Narendra Modi”

Later addressing the rally in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, Shah said : When results of Vidhan Sabha election will be declared BJP will form the government with more than 200 seats. You gave three decades to Congress, 27 years to Communists and 10 years to Mamata didi. Give 5 years to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), we will make Bengal ‘Sonar Bangla’

Earlier, Suvendu Adhikari wrote a letter to the fellow TMC members and said a “deep rot and malaise has set in the Trinamool Congress”. Suvendu Adhikari said TMC was not built by any individual person in a day and if anyone goes by this idea, they have no idea of the truth.

After Suvendu’s exit the TMC was further jolted with as many as eleven MLA’s and one former MP former MP Dasarath Tirkey joining the BJP. They include – Suvendu Adhikari, Tapasi Mondal, Ashoke Dinda, Sudip Mukherjee, Saikat Panja, Shilbhadra Dutta, Dipali Biswas, Sukra Munda, Shyamapda Mukherjee, Biswajit Kundu & Banasri Maity
