As per Election Commission data, Sanquelim from where Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is contesting Goa Assembly polls continues to witness the highest percentage of voters’ turnout of 54 per cent followed by Sanguem with 53.91 per cent voter turnout.
In the Priol constituency, around 51.55 per cent of people have cast their votes till 1 pm and Quepem has recorded a voter turnout of 50.94 per cent.

After casting his vote, BJP CM Pramod Sawant was quoted as saying by ANI , I’m in Cotombi Village and have cast my vote. I appeal to public to come out in huge numbers to vote. BJP govt’s work is in front of everyone. Utpal Parrikar (independent) and Michael Lobo (Congress) won’t win, as BJP is coming with a majority.
Goa achieved 78.94% voting. The highest voter turnout was recorded in the Sanquelim constituency at 89.64%. North Goa has registered a maximum turnout of 79% than South Goa at 78%. In today’s polling 14 EVM’s & 8 ballet were replaced, Goa Chief Electoral Officer Kunal told ANI
