2nd ODI #IndvAus : India Win A High Scoring Thriller By 36 Runs, Series Now 1-1

India  won the second ODI against Australia by 36 runs in a high scoring thriller at Rajkot. With this win the Three match ODI series is now tied at 1-1.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch Won the toss and asked India to bat first. India after 10 wickets thrashing in the first ODI bounced back by posting an imposing total of 340/ 6 in their 50 overs. Rohit Sharma ( 42) , Shikhar Dhawan ( 96) was unlucky to miss out a fine ton, Skipper Virat Kohli hit a fine ( 78), K L Rahul was aggressive with his ( 80) were the main scorers for the men in Blue.
For the Aussies, it was tough day in office, Pat Cummins 0/53 (10 overs), Mitchell Starc 0/78 (10 overs), Kane Richardson 2/73 (10 overs), leg spinner Adam Zampa was the most successful with 3/50 ( 10 overs), Ashton Agar 0/63 (8 overs), Marnus Labuschagne 0/14 (2 overs)

Australia made a valiant attempt to chase the Indian target. And batted till the end. But Indian bowlers held their nerves to clinch a 36 run win. For Australia , Imperious Steve Smith narrowly missed a fine hundred . He fell for 98 off mere 102 balls. David Warner ( 15), Aaron Finch (33), Marnus Labuschagne ( 46), Ashton Agar ( 25) were the other scorers. Australia could manage 304 in their 50 overs.

For India wicket-less in the first ODI, the second ODI was sigh of relief , Jasprit Bumrah 1/32 ( 9.1 overs), Mohammed Shami was bit expensive for his 3/ 77 (10 overs), Navdeep Saini 2/62 ( 10 overs), Ravindra Jadeja 2/58 ( 10 overs), Kuldeep Yadav 2/ 65 ( 10 overs)

Both teams now go to play the decider in Bengaluru on Sunday.
